Our programmes

Six ways we help a neighbourhood thrive

Each programme is free, open to all, and shaped by the people who use it. Here's what's growing right now.

Green spaces

Community Gardens

Open to all ages · 31 sites · No experience needed

We turn neglected land into shared gardens where neighbours grow food, friendships and fresh air together.

People planting in a community garden

How it works

  1. Drop in to your nearest garden — no booking, just turn up.
  2. A volunteer host hands you tools and shows you the ropes.
  3. Take home what you grow, and help shape the next planting.
Youth & play

Youth & Play Clubs

Ages 5–16 · Term-time & holidays · Free hot meal

Safe, free after-school and holiday clubs that keep young people active, curious and supported.

Children playing outdoors

How it works

  1. Register your child once — it takes about five minutes.
  2. They join sport, crafts and trips with trained, DBS-checked staff.
  3. Every session ends with a free hot meal before home time.
Skills & training

How it works

  1. Tell us your goal — a job, a skill or just a fresh start.
  2. We match you to a free course and a personal mentor.
  3. Leave with a certificate, a CV and someone in your corner.
Active together

  3. Stick around for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
Mind & body

  3. Talk to a trained listener whenever you need one.

  2. We match a friendly, background-checked companion.
  3. Enjoy weekly visits, lunches and lifts to appointments.

The common thread

What every programme shares

However different they look, all six are built on the same three promises.

Free, always

Every session is free at the point of need — funded by donations, partners and grants, so cost is never the reason anyone misses out.

Open to everyone

No referral, no means test, no experience required. Whoever you are and whatever your week looks like, the gate is open.

Led by local people

Our programmes are run with the neighbourhood, not just for it — shaped, hosted and looked after by the people who use them.
